1966 Morris LD/Wadhams Ambulance
Seen at a multi-agency childrens event at North Walsham Fire Station, Norfolk on 10/8/2011.
This Ambulance was bought by the City of Norwich Ambulance Service in 1966 and it served from Bethel Street Fire Station (crewed by Firemen) as the 3rd ambulance for the city. It was therefore stationed and served alongside the Norwich Dennis Turntable Ladder (pictured on the Fire Engine Photo site; picture number 21190). Like the TL, it is still operated and maintained by its original owners, now re-named East of England Ambulance NHS Trust.
