Police Ambulance 1989

This is a Metropolitain Police Leyland Sherpa Van E580LHX of Orpington Police Station, in use as an Ambulance during the early weeks of the National Ambulance Dispute 1989-90. Seen at Bromley Hospital, it carried a canvas stretcher and a first aid kit! Sometime later in the dispute it gained Green and White Crosses!
